Project description

The purpose of the project was to analyse the existing processes and institutions involved in the administration of public revenue in the Tax Administration and other relevant public institutions, identifying problems and potential synergy, and making proposals for further improvements. 
The project included an analysis of the information flows and cash flows between the different organisations involved in the administration of public revenue.

  • Evaluation of level of efficiency of the system
  • Analysis and assessment of effectiveness of tax audit and inspection procedures
  • Identification of weaknesses in the current system
  • Reporting on findings and provision of different options for improving the system
  • Presenting findings and proposed options for improvements, to senior staff in the Ministry of Finance and Tax Administration
