Nowadays business entities can carry out more and more services electronically by consuming government e-services. Such e-services are often performed on behalf of a business entity by natural persons authorized to represent the business entity or the person by whom they have been authorized.
Individuals have the power to represent a business entity in the appropriate registers, whilst the powers granted to persons are stored in the authorization system of each individual e-service.
The increasing number of available e-services becomes more and more difficult to manage. Additionally, each new e-service needs to rebuild the authorization mechanisms that often involves giving authorization through paper forms, thus losing the e-business' sense of purpose.
Therefore, the general goal of the project is to introduce an application-based solution for the authorization register in order to enable centralized authorization management for the use of e-services.
