The consortium of IUnetworks (AM), Teched Consulting Services (HR) and Nikita Mobile (AM) successfully
achieved the operational acceptance of the system within the project “Supply and Installation of the
Criminal Case Pre-trial Proceedings Electronic Management System” for the Office of the Prime Minister of
the Republic of Armenia and the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia.
The goal of the project was the implementation of the
Criminal Cases Pre-Trial Proceedings Electronic Management System (CCPTEMS) using modern
information and communication technologies. As a result of the project, the efficiency of pre-trial criminal
proceedings will significantly improve, the economic efficiency of these processes will increase, and
financial and human resources will be saved.
The objective of the CCPTEMS is to ensure the electronic implementation of the pre-trial proceedings of
criminal cases, ensure improvement of the effectiveness of relevant analyses and accountability, improve the
efficiency of the work of the parties involved in the investigation (preliminary investigation body,
prosecution) within the framework of the pre-trial proceedings of criminal cases. Moreover, the relevant
business processes used in pre-trial proceedings were re-designed in line with the new Criminal Code. The
project also included procurement of required hardware and infrastructure software which was delivered in
several locations in Armenia.
Extensive training courses were organized for the system users from the investigative bodies and the
prosecution with more than 1.000 participants trained.
